# Media Channels and formats

Channels, or media types, are the different ways you can reach, communicate with, and engage potential clients through an ad campaign. Both online and offline channels are available, making it easy to align your brand lift needs with single- or multichannel media plans. During setup, you can select up to 10 channels for your brand lift, and you can even choose the same channel more than once. For example, if your campaign runs on both Instagram and TikTok, you can add social media twice.

For each brand lift you launch with Happydemics, you can also specify a format. Formats refer to the types of creative content used within a media channel, such as banners, native ads, or rich media. By defining the format, you gain access to detailed benchmarks that are tailored to your specific criteria.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.happydemics.com/methodology/media-formats-and-targeting-strategies/media-channels-and-formats.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
