# How to add my exposure data?

After submitting your brand Lift, you have the flexibility to add your exposure data either immediately or at a later time. This step is optional, and we can still collect ad recall respondents without it.

**Important:** We need to receive your exposure data before your brand lift is launched. If the data arrives later, we won’t be able to retarget exposed respondents directly. In that case, our trading team will work to ensure we still gather enough ad recall respondents (by default 250).

**Step 1: Submit Your Brand Lift**

Start by completing all the required information to create your brand lift. Once you have submitted it, you will be redirected to a dedicated page where you can upload your exposure data.

**Step 2: Add Exposure Data**

On this page, you can select the type of exposure data available for each media channel in your campaign, or simply choose not to provide data if you prefer. If you need help deciding, this [article](/launch/exposure-data/when-and-why-do-we-use-exposure-data.md) offers detailed guidance on which types of data are compatible with each media channel.

When you click on a specific data type, you will see additional information about the deadline for submitting your data and any special requirements you may need to meet.
