# How to choose the right questionnaire and KPIs?

When launching a brand lift with Happydemics, you have two main options to design your questionnaire:

## 1. Use a Pre-defined Template – Happydemics Templates

Our Happydemics templates are designed to cover the most common campaign goals. They're ready to use, time-efficient, and based on proven structures—ideal for measuring creative impact, brand visibility, and more.

## 2. Build a Custom KPI Combination

Prefer a more tailored approach? You can select your own KPIs—5 by default, up to 7 with boosts—from our library of 20+ indicators. This option is perfect if you or your clients have specific goals in mind.

## Ask Yourself the Right Questions

Before choosing a setup, take a moment to reflect on your campaign’s intent:

### What is the primary objective of my campaign?

Are you looking to measure brand visibility, evaluate creative effectiveness, or drive action? If your goals align with common use cases, Happydemics templates are a great fit. They not only save time but also enable easy benchmarking within our Analytics feature, letting you compare results objective by objective with other campaigns.[ Learn about how to choose the right template here.](/launch/the-set-up/which-happydemics-template-should-i-choose.md)

### Do I need a specific combination of KPIs?

If your campaign requires a unique approach—or your client has specific expectations—a custom questionnaire is your best option. You can even save your custom setup as a template, making it easy to reuse across your organization.
