How to launch a brand lift with a custom KPIs combination?

When launching a Brand Lift with Happydemics, you’re free to go beyond our ready-to-use Happydemics templates and create your own combination of KPIs. This option is ideal if you have specific campaign goals, internal frameworks to follow, or simply want more flexibility in how you measure performance.

Creating a custom setup allows you to select the KPIs that best match your objectives—while still benefiting from the simplicity of our platform.

Here’s how to build your own KPI combination, step by step:

Step-by-Step: Building Your Custom KPI Set

1. Start a New Brand Lift

When you begin the creation process, you'll be taken to a screen where you can either select a pre-defined template or build your own KPI combination.

2. Choose “Custom Combination”

At the top of the page, click the “Custom combination” block.

A pop-up window will open, showing you the different KPIs available in our catalog. By default, you can select up to 4 KPIs. If you’d like to go further, you can also add 2 extra KPIs as boosts. 👉 Note: Ad Recall is always included by default in every Brand Lift.

3. Explore KPI Options

You can hover over the eye icon next to each KPI to access detailed information, including:

  • A description of the KPI

  • The question wording

  • The type of question

  • The answer format

4. Add Boost KPIs (Optional)

You can choose up to 2 additional KPIs as boosts, at an extra cost of €200 each. 💡 Any additional costs will be clearly displayed before you proceed.

5. Finalize Your Selection

Once you’ve chosen your KPIs, you can either save your selection as a custom template or simply move forward without saving.

Saving it as a template makes it available to everyone in your organization and can be especially useful if you plan to reuse the same combination. You can create up to five custom templates per organization, and only the creator or an admin can make changes to it later.

If you don’t need to save it, no problem — just confirm your selection and continue with the Brand Lift setup.

What’s Next?

Once your KPI selection is complete, you’ll move on to the next stage of your Brand Lift setup.
