You've finalized your Brand Lift, got your pixel, and now you want to know how to integrate it into your ad? No problem, just watch this tutorial or follow the instructions below!

Where and how to embed your retargeting pixel?

Retargeting pixel integration works the same way as a basic impression pixel integration : every DSP, Ad-server or ad campaign management website has a dedicated slot for the pixel embedding.

Once you have the pixel from your Brand Lift, you simply copy and paste it into the dedicated section of your ad broadcasting tool.

Here are the places reserved for the installation of the pixels, within the DSP Xandr and DV360.

Xandr / creative section

DV360 / creative section

As far as VAST format (third party video) is concerned, the pixel must be implemented via the Adserver

Here are some steps to follow for the integration of Pixel Mobile and Desktop:

Example of a Beeswax in-app pixel:{{USER_ID}}&user_id_type={{IDFA or GAID}}&gdpr_consent={{IS_GDPR_CONSENTED}}&gdpr={{IS_GDPR}}

  1. Replace the {USER_ID} part by the device ID macro of your DSP or AD Server.

  2. Replace the IDFA / GAID part by IDFA or GAID.

  3. Replace the IS_GDPR_CONSENT part by the consent string macro.

  4. Replace the IS_GDPR part by the macro GDPR.

Example of a Beeswax desktop pixel: segment?buzz_key=happydemics&segment_key=happydemics- 10&value=&gdpr_consent={{IS_GDPR_CONSENT}}&gdpr={{GDPR}}

  1. Replace the IS_GDPR_CONSENT by the consent string macro part.

  2. Replace the IS_GDPR by the GDPR macro

Example of a Mediasmart in-app pixel:

<img src="" height="1" width="1" />

  1. Replace the {ToBeFilledWith_IDFA_or_GAID} by the device ID macro of your DSP or AD Server.

  2. Replace the {ToBeFiledWithConsentString} by the consent string macro part (consent string (TCFv2)) when GDPR or other privacy regulations are required.

    Here is an example below:

If necessary, you can contact your DSP's support or help center for more information on integrating the device ID and consent string macros.
